[spoiler=Description]When the folks at Sonic Team were in the process of creating the original Sonic the Hedgehog, they knew they couldn't beat Mario at his own game. So, instead of cooking up another hop-happy Mario clone, they focused their efforts on speed. As a result, one of the most visceral franchises of the 16-bit era was born. However, the transition from 2D to 3D was a hard one for Sonic, and the series lost a lot of its focus in the process by trading in speed for action adventure elements and introducing an unnecessary--and unnecessarily large--supporting cast of characters. Sonic Heroes strips away a lot of the elements that slowed down the Sonic Adventure backpedals on a lot of the design decisions made in the Sonic Adventure games, and though it still exhibits many of the camera and control issues that vexed Sonic's previous forays into 3D, it's truer to its 2D roots than any other 3D Sonic game before it.[/spoiler]

I know. I downloaded this for nostalgia. The key settings are horrible, but I still love the game. I just beat the 1st boss with Team Sonic today

I felt so accomplished when I beat the game on PS2. LOL.

I loved the ending, and I love the game, but sadly, when I downloaded the full version on PC earlier this year, it was too laggy for me to play. I guess I should stick with PS2 or get a better computer.

You could try the demo version to test your computer out. I mean, you have windows7/Vista right? Your computer SHOULD be able to handle the game at least.

I love the game, I haven't played it in so long. I have it for my gamecube now but somehow somebody pawned off all of my gamecube controllers -.-

Too bad you can't play online 1vs1 races. I know the gamecube didn't have wi-fi or anything though back then, so it couldn't have happened.

Well, I hated the Haunted House one, but still!
Also, I'm such a wuss because I used Team Rose for EVERY emerald because their stages are easier and the keys are easier to secure

I know! Team Rose was so easy, back when I had the game for gamecube, the were the first team I beat the game with. I never actually got to finish the game because my gamecube broke. So I want to work on the harder teams this time. It stinks that the key settings are terrible though. It makes it that much harder to win.
